Marketing a beauty salon
Many beauty therapists begin their journey working for themselves from a salon in their home, as overheads are low and they can operate quite cost effectively.
But there eventually comes a point in time when it’s time to move out and look for a room to rent in a beauty salon, which will require attracting more clients to cover the increased overheads.
In this blog, I will illustrate how Vivacity Marketing has helped the beauty salon Bellissima Skin & Beauty, to increase their monthly revenue by 37%, and move into a room in a beauty salon, through using a combination of the Vivacity Marketing services.
Bellissima Skin & Beauty
Bellissima Skin & Beauty, formerly known as Alicia Botha Dermal Therapy, opened it’s doors earlier this year, in 2018. Alicia began operating out of her home salon with a view to eventually moving into a shared beauty space in Joondalup in Perth. When Alicia approached Vivacity Marketing she needed help with:

Bellissima Skin & Beauty were struggling to understand how to reach new customers and how to effectively market the business. They were going through a re-brand which they needed help with, and needed to build their online presence too via a new website and their social media channels. When they came to see me, they were operating off a Facebook page only.
It really was important to go back to basics with Bellissima Skin & Beauty and start prioriting what needed to be done with the business. Firstly we did some work on marketing strategy, understanding their point of difference and ideal client.
Next we started to work on her re-brand, building the website and setting up Instagram. Once that was completed we started working on all of the graphic design elements for flyers, pull up banners, posters and business cards.
We agreed to do marketing coaching once per week to get everything up and running, and we were also on the look out for a salon space for Bellissima Skin & Beauty to move into.
